Christian Darrisaw, the left tackle for the Minnesota Vikings, missed the game on Thursday against the Los Angeles Rams due to a knee injury he incurred in the first half.
The injury to his left knee happened when Rams safety Jaylen McCollough fell into him awkwardly while trying to run down the clock. Darrisaw is known to perform at a Pro Bowl level.
In the second half, David Quessenberry took over the left tackle position from Darrisaw.
At 25 years old, Darrisaw secured a contract extension with the Vikings this summer for five years, amounting to $140 million. He was the 23rd overall pick in the 2021 draft.
