Vikings Overcome Early Deficit, Improve to 6-2 with 21-13 Win Against Colts

The Vikings have had a strong start thanks to their belief and resilience. A major highlight was Sam Darnold's three touchdowns in the second half along with the defense's impressive performance against Joe Flacco, leading to a 21-13 win over the Colts.

Despite some turnovers, Darnold maintained an aggressive approach. Key offensive contributions came from Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jalen Nailor. The Colts scored their only touchdown through Kenny Moore II's fumble recovery.

Flacco's return was challenging, marked by Harrison Smith's critical pass breakups that caused a turnover. Josh Oliver secured the win with a late touchdown catch.

Two years after staging a remarkable comeback against the Colts, the Vikings encountered a similar situation in the first half, trailing by just one touchdown. Will Reichard missed several field goals, and Darnold initially faced turnover issues.

T.J. Hockenson made a brief return after an injury but was hindered by penalties, while Darnold had difficulty with the Colts' defensive line, resulting in a fumble that was taken back for a score.

The Colts played without Bernhard Raimann, and the Vikings missed Blake Cashman. Both teams are preparing for challenging upcoming matches: the Colts will host Buffalo, and the Vikings are set to visit Jacksonville.
