Los Angeles Chargers News & Updates

Los Angeles Chargers Coach Jim Harbaugh voiced his concerns about his team's recent difficulties in the fourth quarter. In the first two weeks, the Chargers managed to score a total of 16 points in the final period, but they have since failed to score in the fourth quarter in their last two defeats.

Harbaugh remarked that the team has not been performing at its best in the crucial fourth quarter during the last two games and that this is an issue that must be addressed.

Following a 17-10 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the Chargers' record fell to 2-2. Despite an early lead of 10-0, the offense was unable to score in the remaining three quarters.

This offensive collapse is similar to their disappointing loss in Week 3 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In that game, they were ahead 10-7 at halftime but recorded minus-5 total yards in the second half.

Despite the offensive issues, the Chargers' defense has been impressive, allowing an NFL-low of 12.5 points per game. They sacked Patrick Mahomes three times, with Kristian Fulton intercepting a pass.

Harbaugh commended the defense's athleticism, singling out Poona Ford, Khalil Mack, Daiyan Henley, and Denzel Perryman for praise. Nonetheless, he stressed that both the defense and the entire team have areas to improve and are very close to achieving greatness.
