James was impressive, connecting on 12 of his 22 shots, while also grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists. Anthony Davis made significant contributions as well, scoring 24 points and collecting 11 rebounds.
Although the Celtics made a strong push in the third quarter, the Lakers maintained their lead and stopped Boston from continuing their recent streak of wins.
Jayson Tatum was the top performer for the Celtics, tallying 29 points, with Jaylen Brown adding 23 points. Despite their strong efforts, they couldn't match the Lakers' well-rounded effort.
With this win, the Lakers' record improved to 5-3, while the Celtics now stand at 4-4.
