The current titleholders, known as the Warriors, went head-to-head against the ambitious Kings. Spearheaded by Stephen Curry, the Warriors aimed to avenge an earlier significant defeat in the season. Conversely, the Kings were eager to cause an upset.

With less than sixty seconds on the clock, the Warriors seized the lead and maintained it, ultimately securing a challenging 112-107 win.
Although they lost, De'Aaron Fox led the Kings by scoring 31 points. Curry emerged as the top scorer for the Warriors with 29 points.
Following this win, the Warriors improved their record to 12 wins and 4 losses, whereas the Kings' record stood at an even 8 wins and 8 losses.
