In Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics claimed a victory over the Miami Heat with a score of 120 to 102, giving them a 3-2 lead in the series.

Jayson Tatum spearheaded the Celtics' offense with an impressive 31 points. He was supported by Jaylen Brown, who scored 23 points, and Al Horford, who added 20 points. On Miami's side, Jimmy Butler showed determination with 22 points, while Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry scored 17 and 16 points, respectively.

Boston asserted dominance from the outset, establishing a 10-point lead in the first quarter and maintaining a solid double-digit lead throughout the game. Tatum's scoring ability combined with Brown's steady performance proved overwhelming for the Heat.

Miami found it challenging to keep up, committing 18 turnovers which allowed Boston to take advantage and score easily. Al Horford's defensive efforts were pivotal, effectively minimizing Adebayo's influence near the basket.

Following this win, the Celtics have two opportunities to secure the series in Boston. Game 6 is scheduled for Friday night, with a possible Game 7 planned for Sunday.
