Los Angeles Chargers News & Updates

Patrick Mahomes led a comeback for the Kansas City Chiefs, overturning a 10-point deficit to secure a 17-10 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Mahomes threw for 245 yards and a touchdown, reigniting his strong partnership with Travis Kelce, who achieved a new milestone in career receptions for the franchise.

Kelce managed 89 receiving yards across seven catches. This win marked the Chiefs' sixth consecutive triumph over the Chargers and stretched their road winning streak to 11 games against this AFC West rival.

Despite being hampered by an ankle injury that limited his mobility, Justin Herbert of LA struggled to put points on the board after the Chargers initially capitalized on two Chiefs turnovers to score 10 points. Herbert was sacked twice and sustained 10 hits throughout the game.

Samaje Perine of Kansas City scored the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter, completing a 60-yard drive. Kelce's recent performance has cemented his place as the franchise's all-time leading receiver, surpassing the record previously held by Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez.
