Washington Commanders News & Updates

Trent Brown, the Cincinnati Bengals right tackle, will not participate in Monday's game because of a right knee injury. He sustained this injury in the second quarter while protecting the pass against the Washington Commanders and had to be taken off the field on a medical cart.

Brown, who is in his tenth year as a professional, had already missed the initial two games of the season due to a pectoral injury. After signing a one-year contract in the offseason, he had just completed his third start of the season for the Bengals.

Amarius Mims, the team's first-round draft pick this year, took Brown's place in the lineup. Mims had shown promise during offseason workouts and training camp sessions before suffering a preseason injury.
