Running back Austin Ekeler from the Washington Commanders has been cleared from the concussion protocol and will play on Sunday. However, Brian Robinson Jr.'s status remains uncertain due to a knee issue.
Ekeler sustained a concussion during Week 3 against Cincinnati. He missed the subsequent game against Arizona but is anticipated to join the lineup for the upcoming game.
Robinson has been unable to practice due to his knee injury and is labeled as questionable. His availability for the match will be decided prior to the game.
Receiver Noah Brown and defensive end Clelin Ferrell are both sidelined with injuries to the groin and knee, respectively.
Ekeler is hopeful about his participation, having expressed confidence in his return on Wednesday. Before his injury, he recorded nine receptions for 121 yards and ran the ball 13 times for 83 yards.
In Ekeler's absence last week, Jeremy McNichols stepped in, rushing for 68 yards and scoring two touchdowns. If Robinson is unable to play, Chris Rodriguez Jr. or Michael Wiley might be promoted from the practice squad.
Brown has made nine catches totaling 111 yards over three games. Terry McLaurin continues to be the leading receiver, supported by Olamide Zaccheaus, Luke McCaffrey, and Dyami Brown as additional options.
