Cooper Kupp Sidelined for Rams' Week 3 Clash with the Chicago Bears

Rams head coach Sean McVay has confirmed that wide receiver Cooper Kupp will not play in Sunday's game against the Bears because of a sprained left ankle.

Initially, McVay thought Kupp might be out for a longer period, but Kupp has managed to avoid surgery, and the Rams have not placed him on injured reserve.

McVay stressed that Kupp's return date is still uncertain and that he does not want to put any pressure on the player.

This season, Kupp has played in two games, making 18 receptions for 147 yards and scoring one touchdown.

Although the Rams have lost key players to injuries early on, they came out of their recent victory against San Francisco with relatively few new injuries.

McVay mentioned that the team's better health will enable more consistency within their various units.
