Green Bay Packers News & Updates

The Green Bay Packers are expected to place tight end Luke Musgrave on injured reserve because of an ankle injury. Musgrave led the team's tight ends in receiving last season, but he has been restricted in his play this season.

Coach Matt LaFleur commended Musgrave's resilience and determination for playing in the previous game despite his injury. The team is hopeful for Musgrave's return this season; however, if he is placed on injured reserve, he will be ineligible to play until November 17th.

Although Tucker Kraft has become the leading tight end for the team this season, the Packers frequently utilize multiple-tight-end formations. John FitzPatrick, who was signed from the Falcons' practice squad, is anticipated to fill Musgrave's spot on the roster.

Additionally, Ben Sims, a second-year player with four career receptions for 21 yards and one touchdown, is expected to receive increased playing time.
