Jayden Daniels guided the Washington Commanders to a 21-18 win against the New York Giants, despite missing a snap and facing multiple obstacles.
In the final minutes, Daniels orchestrated a 65-yard drive that led to a 30-yard game-winning field goal by Austin Seibert. Seibert's flawless 7-for-7 kicking performance came after Cade York, who missed two field goals in the season opener, left the team.
The Commanders overcame issues in the red zone and several false start penalties. Running back Brian Robinson Jr. achieved a career-best 133 rushing yards, while tight end Zach Ertz surpassed 7,500 receiving yards.
The Giants dealt with the loss of kicker Graham Gano due to injury, which pushed them to attempt conversions on fourth down. Malik Nabers made 10 catches for 127 yards but dropped a key pass on a fourth-down play.
