Los Angeles Chargers News & Updates

The Los Angeles Chargers have brought running back Gus Edwards back from injured reserve as of Saturday.

After sustaining a high ankle sprain on his left side in the fourth week, Edwards is uncertain for participation in the game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

During the time Edwards was unavailable, rookie running back Kimani Vidal took on a larger role but produced only 44 yards from 18 carries over the span of four games.

Should Edwards participate on Sunday, it is probable that Vidal will be left out again.

While Edwards was out, running back J.K. Dobbins emerged as one of the league’s standout backs, having scored six rushing touchdowns, placing him in a tie for the seventh-highest number in the NFL.
