On Sunday, the Denver Broncos managed to turn around their initial sluggish performance to secure a 23-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium.
The Broncos' quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, played a key role in the comeback by completing 22 out of 36 throws, amassing 220 yards and earning a touchdown. Running back Javonte Williams also played a significant part, rushing for 102 yards and scoring a touchdown on 15 attempts.
The Panthers faced difficulties offensively, with quarterback Sam Darnold managing only 164 passing yards along with an interception. The Broncos' defense effectively limited Christian McCaffrey to just 60 yards on the ground and 32 yards through the air.
Denver initially built a 10-0 lead, but the Panthers managed to score a field goal before the halftime break. In the third quarter, the Broncos widened the gap to 17-3 with a touchdown from Williams. Bridgewater further cemented the win by connecting with Jerry Jeudy on a 20-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter.
The win for the Broncos brings their season record to 2-1, while the Panthers remain winless at 0-3.
