The Los Angeles Chargers have brought wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. off the injured reserve list, preparing him for a possible appearance against the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. Chark's status remains uncertain as he deals with a hip issue.
Initially placed on injured reserve in the first week of the season, Chark has faced challenges with injuries over recent years, having participated in just 54 out of 82 games since the year 2018. Although he is an experienced player with a record of surpassing 1,000 receiving yards in a season, he has prioritized team achievements over personal milestones.
Chark showed potential as a dependable target during training camp after joining the Chargers in May, but a groin injury has temporarily delayed his return from injured reserve until the previous Saturday. Additionally, the team has moved rookie receiver Brenden Rice to injured reserve due to a shoulder issue.
