Green Bay Packers News & Updates

Packers coach Matt LaFleur is hopeful that the problems behind receiver Romeo Doubs' suspension have been sorted out.

Doubs was suspended for one game after missing two practices last week. The Packers managed to secure a win against the Rams without him, and Doubs is set to return to the team this week.

LaFleur is confident that Doubs will rebuild trust and continue positively with the team. He considers it a one-time issue and does not anticipate a recurrence.

Before his suspension, Doubs ranked second in the team for catches and yards but hadn't scored a touchdown. Jayden Reed has emerged as a leading receiver for the Packers.

The Packers had just four active receivers in the game on Sunday. Reed mentioned they supported one another following the suspension.

Even without a clear No. 1 receiver, the Packers have a solid group of capable pass catchers. Tight end Tucker Kraft delivered an impressive performance on Sunday.

LaFleur expressed his desire to get everyone involved in the offense. He sees it as a favorable situation and notes that the team has prioritized the collective success of the team.
