Green Bay Packers News & Updates

After serving a suspension for behavior detrimental to the team, Romeo Doubs sought to make amends and did so by scoring two touchdowns in the Green Bay Packers' 34-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

These marked Doubs' first touchdowns of the season, consisting of a 10-yard and a 20-yard score, significantly uplifting the Packers' performance, which was evident in the celebrations following his initial touchdown.

In a standout showing for the Packers, Jordan Love threw four touchdown passes, three of which were caught by Doubs. On the other hand, the Cardinals had challenges with discipline, as they incurred 13 penalties and three turnovers.

Arizona also faced several injuries, notably the concussion of rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. The Packers' defense effectively limited James Conner's yardage, and they managed to significantly outrun the Cardinals with a 179-89 advantage.

Arizona's injury list includes Kyzir White with a knee issue, Bilal Nichols with a stinger, Joey Blount suffering from a hamstring problem, Evan Brown with an ankle injury, Sean Murphy-Bunting dealing with a neck condition, and Marvin Harrison Jr. with a concussion. For Green Bay, injuries were reported for Dontayvion Wicks, who suffered a shoulder injury, and Josh Myers with an undisclosed issue.

Looking ahead, the Cardinals are set to host the Los Angeles Chargers on October 21, while the Packers will face the Houston Texans at home next Sunday.
