Though they began slowly, the Braves bounced back to secure a 6-3 victory over the Reds. After conceding two runs in the opening inning, Atlanta's offense found its rhythm. Dansby Swanson broke the tie with a solo home run in the fourth inning, and Ronald Acuña Jr. widened the gap with a two-run double in the fifth.
The Reds attempted a comeback by adding a run in the sixth inning. However, the Braves swiftly countered with two additional runs in their half of the inning. Mike Soroka delivered a solid performance, allowing only three runs across six innings. The bullpen then kept Cincinnati from scoring in the last three innings, ensuring the win.
With this victory, the Braves' record improves to 27-19. They are set to meet the Reds again in a doubleheader on Tuesday.
