Los Angeles Rams News & Updates

Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp will be absent from Sunday's game against the Packers because of an ankle sprain sustained in Week 2. Coach Sean McVay underscores the team's cautious strategy for Kupp's comeback, even though he hasn't been placed on injured reserve.

In his two games this season, Kupp has accumulated 18 receptions for 147 yards and one touchdown.

Coach McVay also shared that the Rams intend to activate the 21-day practice windows for cornerback Darious Williams and defensive tackle Larrell Murchison as they prepare to return from injured reserve.

Williams, who injured his hamstring during training camp, had been anticipated to return by Week 1. Despite some setbacks in his recovery, the Rams are hopeful for his upcoming availability.

McVay maintains a positive outlook on the progress of both Williams and Murchison but advises against establishing fixed timelines for their return. He highlights the importance of practice and simulation in evaluating their readiness for game scenarios.
