Jefferson shrugged off Alexander's taunts, seeing them as an attempt to get under his skin. He expressed confidence, stating he plans to perform his touchdown dance in Alexander's territory, welcoming the competition.

The rivalry intensified during their encounters in the 2022 season. Jefferson had an outstanding performance initially, but Alexander dismissed it as a fluke and later mocked Jefferson's celebration in their next matchup.

Due to an injury, Jefferson missed the first game of 2023, and Alexander was suspended for the second. Jefferson hinted that the rivalry holds more importance for Alexander than for himself.

Jefferson mentioned he wasn't affected by Alexander's presence or absence, as his main focus was on making the playoffs last year. He suggested that Alexander seemed to care more about the matchup than he did.

Despite his indifference, Jefferson recognized that Alexander uses psychological tactics similar to those employed by his older brother, such as pushing or hitting harder than usual to get into his head. However, Jefferson maintained that these tactics have no effect on him.

He stated that he understands Alexander's strategy and has prepared to counter it, expressing excitement about the challenge and showcasing their preparations.
