In Seattle, Demarcus Robinson made a spectacular 39-yard catch with one hand, scoring a touchdown that led to a 26-20 overtime win for the Los Angeles Rams against the Seattle Seahawks.
Matthew Stafford, who delivered the winning pass, acknowledged the defense for their essential stop on a critical fourth-and-1 play, which allowed the Rams to take control during overtime.
Though only a field goal was required, Stafford chose to go for the game-winning touchdown, which Robinson caught with one hand as he fell.
Stafford finished the game with 298 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, while Robinson had six receptions totaling 94 yards, along with both touchdowns.
Geno Smith had 363 passing yards for the Seahawks, with three touchdowns and three interceptions. Jaxon Smith-Njigba showcased his talent by accumulating 180 receiving yards and scoring twice.
Trailing 13-3, the Rams fought back and took the lead when Kamren Kinchens returned an interception for a 103-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. The Seahawks managed to tie the game when Smith connected with Smith-Njigba for a 14-yard touchdown.
Kinchens' two interceptions of Smith in the end zone were crucial for Los Angeles' win. However, wide receiver Puka Nacua's ejection following a second-quarter incident somewhat marred the Rams' efforts.
With DK Metcalf missing the game due to a knee injury, Smith-Njigba stepped up for the Seahawks.
The match began at a slow pace, with both teams punting eight times in the first half. The Seahawks initially took the lead with a 30-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Lockett, followed by a 24-yard pass to Smith-Njigba.
