Denver Broncos News & Updates

Justin Fields and the Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly edged out the Denver Broncos with a 13-6 victory, resulting in Denver's third consecutive loss.

Russell Wilson, formerly with the Broncos, was demoted to emergency status because of an injury. Mike Tomlin of the Steelers awarded Wilson a game ball after the match.

Fields managed to throw a touchdown pass, whereas Bo Nix from the Broncos threw for 246 yards but did not score, reflecting Wilson's previous difficulties in Denver.

Despite some penalties, the Steelers' defense performed admirably. Fields believes that a more consistent offense will pave the way for future success.

Broncos coach Sean Payton deployed kicker Wil Lutz for two field goals, but the team couldn't close the gap, marking their second loss of the season.

Wilson's exit from Denver has been detrimental to the team, both on and off the field, leaving the Broncos struggling to find their footing.

Since Wilson's departure, the Broncos' scoring has declined, and Nix's performances have been underwhelming.

Both teams faced injuries, with the Broncos losing several players and the Steelers' Tyler Matakevich suffering a hamstring injury.

The Steelers will play against the Los Angeles Chargers next week, while the Broncos will travel to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
