At the start of the match, Barcelona controlled the ball for the majority of the time. Despite this, Real Madrid was the first to create a scoring opportunity when Benzema found himself in front of the goalkeeper but missed the target with his shot.

Barcelona kept up the pressure, and their efforts were eventually rewarded. Messi, standing at the edge of the penalty area, received the ball and executed a beautiful shot that went into the top corner of the net.

Real Madrid reacted positively and managed to score the equalizer just before the break. Kroos, a midfielder from Germany, managed to strike the ball with tremendous power from outside the penalty area, sending it into the goal.

During the second half, the teams continued to compete fiercely, but neither could score a definitive goal. Despite several attempts from both sides, the game concluded with a 1-1 draw.
