The Arizona Cardinals were defeated by the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday with a score of 27-17, leading to a 4-10 season record. The Rams, who improved to 9-5, established a lead early on and maintained it to secure their win.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford achieved 287 passing yards along with a touchdown. Meanwhile, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray faced difficulties, recording 191 passing yards without any touchdowns. Cam Akers, the Rams' running back, spearheaded the team's rushing effort with 123 yards on the ground and scored a touchdown.

Although the Cardinals' defense showed strength, their offense couldn't seize the opportunities. A pivotal moment came when Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey intercepted a pass from Murray in the end zone, thwarting a possible scoring opportunity. Additionally, the Cardinals missed a field goal and had a drive that failed to convert on downs.

The second half saw the Rams reinforce their control of the game, widening their lead to 27-10 in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals managed to add a late touchdown, but it fell short in closing the gap against the Rams' lead.

This defeat dimmed the Cardinals' chances for a playoff spot. Conversely, the Rams remain contenders for the NFC West division title.
