Sam Darnold steered the Minnesota Vikings to a 31-29 win over the Green Bay Packers, throwing three touchdown passes in Green Bay. Jordan Addison, who scored twice, helped the Vikings establish an early 28-point lead.
Darnold amassed 275 passing yards with touchdowns to Addison, Josh Oliver, and Justin Jefferson, but also recorded an interception and a fumble. On the other side, Green Bay's Jordan Love threw for 389 yards and four touchdowns, though he tied his career high with three interceptions.
To secure the victory, Minnesota's Josh Oliver recovered an onside kick from Daniel Whelan after the Packers closed the score to 31-29. The game was marked by seven turnovers, with Green Bay responsible for four.
Returning to Lambeau Field, Aaron Jones had 22 carries for 93 yards and made four catches for 46 yards against his former team.
Injuries for the Packers included wide receiver Christian Watson (ankle) and defensive lineman Devontae Wyatt (ankle).
The Vikings are set to play the New York Jets in London next Sunday, while the Packers will head to Los Angeles to face the Rams.
