Washington Commanders News & Updates

During Wednesday's practice, the Washington Commanders had positive developments as running back Brian Robinson Jr. took part in the session.

Robinson was absent from last Sunday's game against Baltimore due to an injury to his right knee. He made a comeback at practice on a limited scale, performing drills and handoffs alongside other running backs.

The Commanders are hopeful that Robinson will be ready for the game against Carolina on Sunday. Nonetheless, a definitive decision on his status will be made on Friday.

Robinson currently has 325 rushing yards and 68 receiving yards for the season and shared that he feels like himself once again.

After impressive performances in Weeks 4 and 5, the Commanders found their rushing game to be lacking against the Ravens, accumulating only 52 yards. Robinson's return is anticipated to enhance the team's performance.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels expressed admiration for Robinson's talent, stating that "B-Rob is a special player" who excels in running and breaking tackles. Daniels also mentioned the importance of Robinson's contribution to the passing game.
