New England Patriots 2009 Season Schedule & Scores
Overall record:10-6
Home record:8-0
Away record:2-6

Following a letdown with an 11-5 record in 2008, the Patriots bounced back in 2009, achieving a 10-6 finish under the seasoned guidance of coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady. Although their postseason run ended with a loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card round, the season featured standout performances from Randy Moss and Wes Welker, who together amassed close to 2,000 receiving yards. The defense, anchored by Vince Wilfork and Jerod Mayo, also significantly contributed to the Patriots' resurgence.
