Kansas City Chiefs 2004 Season Schedule & Scores
Overall record:7-9
Home record:4-4
Away record:3-5

Despite having the NFL's second-ranked passing offense under the leadership of quarterback Trent Green, the Kansas City Chiefs struggled throughout the 2004 season. Plagued by injuries and inconsistency, especially on defense, the team couldn't maintain its initial momentum. After starting strong with a 4-1 record, the Chiefs faltered, losing six of their next seven games. Although they showed signs of revival late in the season, they ultimately ended with a disappointing 7-9 record, missing the playoffs for the second year in a row.
