Despite a robust passing game orchestrated by quarterback Jeff George, the team faltered on defense, conceding 394 points, the fourth-highest total in the NFL. Running back Errict Rhett shone as a standout, amassing 1,484 rushing yards and scoring 10 touchdowns.
